The flat valance comes with velcro or pocket for easy fitting and removal.

Offer 2 lining options: white lining, and blackout lining. An additional hard lining was ironed between the fabric and lining to make the valance slightly stiffer.

The pleat valance comes with velcro or pocket for easy installation and removal.

Have a pleat in the middle by default, and offer 2 lining options: white lining, and blackout lining. An additional adhesive soft lining was ironed on the back of the fabric to make the fabric slightly stiffer.

For board mount type:

If you choose 0" depth, only have 1 pleat in the middle.

If you choose 4" or 6" depth, there will be one pleat on the middle, and 1 pleat on each corner, a total of 3 pleats.

For rod mount type:

Only have 1 pleat in the middle.

Anyway, there is no depth, and no side pleat.

    The pleat is well made and finished with high template iron to create a neat look.
    Hard Lining
    Flat and scalloped valances have hard middle linings that help shape them. They will be roller packaged, not folded. A pleat valance uses a soft middle lining, so it will be folded and packaged.
    Rod Mounted
    Make a 2 3/4 inches heigh pocket to go through 1 to 1 1/2 inches rod.
    Board Mounted
    Sewn a 1 1/8 inches velcro on the top back.
    How to Measure
    Measure 4-6 inches beyond the window frame for hardware installation. *Leave enough space for both the curtain stack width and hardware if using both valance and curtains.

    How to measure the pleated curtains?

    For pleated curtains, we will suggest the curtain width is 1x of the curtain pole/track, measuring the drop from the eyelet ring where the curtain hooks are attached.
    How to understand the width of pleated curtains?

    For pleated curtains, the panel width is the width that pleats are already pack. 2X-2.3X fabric fullness in default to create pleats and folds.

    • 2x Fullness for pinch pleat, tailor pleat, inverted pleat, and goblet style.
    • 2.3x Fullness for triple pleat and triple tailor pleat style.

    And panel width is from the left pleat end to the right pleat end, instead of the left curtain side hem to the right curtain side hem.
    Should I consider how much fullness is for the pleated header style?

    For pleats are permanently sewn to make, we normally make them in 200-230% fullness. For example, if pole or track drop is 100 inches, you may order 2 panels each 50 inches width for pinch pleated, tailor pleated header style. You could also order more width if you prefer more fullness.
    What is stacking width?

    Normally stacking width accounts for 20% of the ordered width. So we would like to remind you that if you wish the window opening to show completely when the drapery is opened, please make sure to consider stacking width when you decide on pole drop.
    Should I purchase pin hooks for the pleated style?

    The order comes with plastic adjustable pin hooks (for pinch pleat) and metal hooks (for tailor pleat). Plastic adjustable pin hooks allow you to adjust curtain drop within 3 inches. You still need to purchase pole rings separately.
    Are there instructions for the number of pleats for pleated curtains?

    Pleats pin hooks quantity: 10 pleats for 50" width; 13 pleats for 72" width; 15 pleats for 84" width; 19 pleats for 100" width; 21 pleats for 110" width, 23 pleats for 120" width, 27 for 150" width. The width and space of the pleats may vary slightly depending on your track or pole drop.
