Motorised Roman Blinds

Motorised Roman blinds are fabric window coverings with an electric lift that raises and lowers the shade. Tailored designs gather into folds, while relaxed styles have a softer lower curve. Select Motorised under lift controls when ordering; these products can also offer manual cordless configurations.

The motorised option includes remote control. Use the configured channels to adjust an individual shade or a group of blinds. Follow the setup instructions supplied with your order, and confirm any special grouping needs before shipment.

Compatibility depends on the selected motor and the equipment in your home. Check the current connection requirements and supported platform before ordering. Do not assume every smart speaker, app, or hub works with every motor configuration.

Not automatically. Motorization changes how the shade moves, not the fabric’s light-blocking performance. Gary and Todd list 100% light-blocking fabric, while other eligible designs offer different base-fabric ratings and lining options. Select blackout lining where required and available. Light may still enter around the edges after fitting.

Use the selected product’s measuring guide and motorised size limits; relaxed designs can have different limits. Allow mounting clearance and room for the raised shade, then follow the fitting, power, and motor setup instructions. Dust gently with a soft duster or soft vacuum brush. Keep liquids away from the motor, do not untie operating cords or dismantle the mechanism, and consult the fabric and lining care instructions before spot cleaning.
