Who is the carrier?
Our customized orders are shipped via FedEx or DHL, and most swatch orders are shipped via USPS.
What to do if the shipment is damaged or lost during the transit?
1. Take a photo of the damaged package.
2. Report the damage or loss to the carrier.
3. Contact us at support@curtarra.com, and we will help fix it (help to find back or remake for you if the carrier confirms the loss).
How to track my order?
There are 3 methods for tracking your order.
a. Log in to your account on the Curtarra site. You will be able to see your order status in the order details.
b. ClickTrack Orderon the left footer (under the help) and enter your tracking number from the email notification.
c. Email us at service@curtarra.com if you cannot track your order via the above methods.

How to change the shipping address?
Please contact us at support@curtarra.com within 48 hours to get a change. Please tell us your order number & new shipping address. We will update the shipping address in 48 hours and send you an order update email.
Where will my order be shipped from?
Curtain orders ship directly from Curtarra curtain factory in China by carrier DHL, FedEx, or UPS.
Hardware and swatch orders ship from our warehouse in LA by UPS or USPS when there is an inventory.

I want to make a curtain by myself. Can I order some fabrics?
We offer fabrics. Please contact support@curtarra.com if you want fabrics only.
What if one of my curtain swatches is out of stock?
If you can't add one swatch to your cart, it means it is out of stock now. Please order other swatches first and email us the unavailable swatch you want. We will ship the swatches together from our factory and items will be delayed by about 7 work days.

What if I ordered the wrong size or color of curtains?
If you ordered the wrong curtains, contact us to cancel or update the order via support@curtarra.com or LiveChat.
Owing to the featured custom goods, we can only assure you of a change before your order is made or shipped.
If you didn't find that you had ordered the wrong curtains until you received the items or got the tracking info, you may need to keep them.
Custom goods are not able to apply to other clients or our reuse.
We are happy to offer you a 50% discount on your second order if you place it within 30 workdays of receiving your first order.
What can I do if I had applied the wrong coupon code when checking out?
Please email service@curtarra.com or start a LiveChat. Tell us your Order#, the name of the wrong coupon you applied, the code of the right coupon you want to apply. We will arrange to refund the difference amount of two coupons on this order.
Please kindly note that the refund is active when the coupon code is valid.
Can I send my own fabric to make the curtains?
We would not recommend you do so. As our curtains are made and shipped directly from the factory in China, you'll need to pay for the shipping fee and expect a longer wait.
How to measure the window and get the correct size of the curtain?
Please enter our How To Measure page or useMeasurement Tool directly, where you can find answers on measuring curtains. You can also chat with us at LiveChat or email us at support@curtarra.com. We will reply ASAP.
How do I change my order?
If you need to modify the details of your order, like size, lining, and so on, please contact us asap. You can contact our customer service team via LiveChat or email us at support@curtarra.com to make a change request and they will assist you.
And for the price change, we will refund it to your payment account, or send you an invoice. Please note that the details can be modified only before the order enters the shipping process. Once the curtains are shipped out, any details can not be modified.

What can I do if I can't place the order or fail to pay on the site?
If you are not able to place an order, please send us the details of the curtains you want to order, including Product Name, Color, Header Style, Size, Lining Option, Design, and Quantity, or just send us the screenshot of your order details. We will send you a PayPal bill based on the details to help you fix the problem.
If there is an issue with payment, you might try to check out again, change another credit card, or change the payment method if you still fail to pay.

What are the details about the header styles (Grommet Top, Rod Pocket, Pinch Pleat – Double)?
Grommet Top: Grommets come in 1.6" inner diameter. We offer grommets in 4 colors, including silver, black, bronze, and gold. If you have a special request for a grommet, contact us via LiveChat or email.
Rod Pocket: The rod pocket is 2.8" in height, which fits the rod less than 1.5" in diameter. The top part is about 1.2" in height.
Pinch Pleat–Double : Pinch Pleat-Double is made with 2 times the fabric of the panel width. There is no need to double your measurement or order more fabric. Hooks are included, while rings are NOT. The distance between the 2 pleats is about 5", and the final width will be 4-8" wider than ordered to create the center overlap and end return.
Pinch Pleat–Triple : Pinch Pleat-Triple is made with 2.5 times the fabric of the panel width. There is no need to double your measuring or order more fabric. Hooks are included, while rings are NOT. The distance between the 2 pleats is about 5", and the final width will be 4-8" wider than ordered to create the center overlap and end return.

Do the curtains come with lining by default?
The curtains are not lined by default. You can choose lining options for your custom orders.
The finished lining length is roughly 1.25" shorter than the finished length of the drapery panel, which is the industry standard.

What is the difference between white lining, black lining, triple weave lining and blackout lining?
White lining

I would like to order extra-large drapes. What is the maximum size of your extra curtains?
There is no limit on solid curtain sizes. If both the width and the length are longer than 104", we will splice the fabrics, and some vertical splicing seams may come.
The maximum length of pattern curtains is 104". If the length is longer than the maximum, we will rotate 90 degrees of the pattern.
Would I get 2 panels if I order 1 quantity?
No, you will get only one panel if your ordered quantity is 1. Our curtains are sold in single panels, not in pairs.
What is the meaning of design?
We provide unique designs like splicing, elegant lace trim, delicate bead trim, and playful pompoms to make your curtains more fun and elevate your space. For further style design needs, please feel free to contact us.
How do I search for blackout curtains?
Try to search with the term Blackout Curtains or sort it out by function to enter into the Blackout Curtains category. Our blackout curtains typically block 95%-100% of the light, even without any lining added.
With that being said, you can also add our blackout lining to the fabrics you're big on to achieve 100% blackout.
Can you make door curtains, patio curtains, or other unusual curtains?
Yes, we also can make unusual curtains like door curtains for French door use or bed canopy sheer. Please contact us when you have special needs, and we will assist you with the order processing.
1. For french doors, usually use double pocket sheer panels. Please order the rod pocket header and leave a message like this: make the double pocket, the total length = 1'' + 2'' + 50'' + 2'' + 1'' =55 inches.

The width size per panel = the width of the rod multiply 2 fullness. Usually, the 2Xfullness is enough to create a wave look when using cloth fabrics and semi-sheer fabrics, but you can choose the 2.5Xfullness on thin sheer fabric.

The length is most important, the total length = top pleats + top pocket + the distance between 2 rods + bottom pocket + bottom pleats.
The length of the pocket should be a bit longer than the rod diameter *3.14/2 to make sure the rod can go through well.

Can I see the fabrics in person?
Yes, we offer up to 10 free swatches per order with just a $3.99 shipping fee. If you need more than 10, please place a new order.
Due to different printing batches and different screen brightness and resolution, the actual color may be slightly different from the picture on the product page. Please kindly understand.
Customers with strict color requirements can order a sample to confirm the color before placing the order.
What about washing and caring?
Gentle cycle machine washable in cold water or hand wash.
Hang dry or dry on low heat.
Wipe clean, dry clean, and do not bleach.
Steam ironing when the fabric is still damp. Some fabrics become heavier after absorbing water, so it is recommended that you use a one-piece washing machine when the curtain gets larger.
If you want to use an iron, please turn down the temperature to avoid burning the curtains.
How do I care for and maintain curtains with different lining options?
All lining-added curtains are recommended to dry clean or gently cycle machine wash per panel at a time.
What are the benefits of choosing lined curtains over unlined curtains?
Unlined curtains will be at higher risk of being damaged by the sun or experiencing fading over time. Curtains serve as both a fashionable and functional tool to elevate space. To that end, we recommend you choose the proper curtain lining.
How to order a valance in the same fabric?
Please send us a pic of the valance style you want to support@curtarra.com. We will reply ASAP and ask you for the size and other details if needed.
How to order the special header style for french doors, bed canopy, outdoor, and other occasions?
If you need a special header style based on your own hardware, just send us a pic of your hardware to support@curtarra.com, and we will reply to you asap and help with the special customization.

How to order tie-backs in the same fabric?
We offer free tiebacks in the same fabric for normal-size curtains (at least 24''W*60 ''L). Sheers and valances come without tiebacks.
How to remove the buttons on the curtains' side hem?
The buttons are set for tiebacks. They are removable. You can remove them by just squeezing the middle part and unplugging the back side.
Should I purchase pin hooks for the pleated header?
Your Pinch Pleat, Euro Pleat, or Flat Panel orders come along with white adjustable hooks by default. You'll only need to purchase the rings or clips separately. If you prefer metal pins, please specify while checking out.
In case you need extra adjustable hooks or metal pins for spare, we offer those as well. Kindly check the Zac page to order.
How many rings should I buy for the pinch pleat hooks?
The space between 2 pleats is 5". For example, if your pleat is 52" wide, please buy 12 rings.
I am a designer and have special needs in pattern and color. Can you make it for me?
Sure thing! Please send us an image of your pattern, and we can customize it with the digital print technique. By the way, sometimes color doesn't translate perfectly on the computer screen. The finished fabric might look a bit different from the provided image.
How many curtain rings will I need?
Wondering how many curtain rings to snag for your pinch pleat curtains? It's all about that spacing between the pleats. At Curtarra, our pinch pleat double and triple curtains feature a 5" space between pleats. Just divide your panel width by the pleat space, add one, and voila! For example, a 25" wide panel would need 6 rings: 25/5 + 1 = 6. Easy-peasy!
Do the curtains come with the rings?
Whoops, nope! Our curtains are fabulous all on their own, but curtain rings are like the perfect accessory—they're sold separately. But don't fret. You can grab them right here.
Do the brackets come with the curtain rods?
Absolutely! Our curtain rods come fully equipped with either 2 or 3 supporting brackets, depending on their length. Shorter rods get 2, while longer ones get 3. We've got you covered!
Does the curtain wand come with the curtains? How do I use it?

Attach the metal hook of the curtain wand to the rings that come with it, and insert the rings onto the rod at the edge of the curtain panel. Hold the wand firmly and slide it smoothly along the curtain rod to open or close the curtains.
What size rod (diameter) would I need to fit the grommet sizes?

Can your curtains be used on a curtain track system? Which header style works with that?
Absolutely! Our custom curtains are track-system friendly. The pinch pleat header is your best bet for this setup.

Do the curtains come with a tieback?
You bet! Almost all our custom curtains come with a FREE matching tieback, except for sheer curtains.

Oops! It's not recommended to add lining to sheer curtains. Extra lining can make them heavier and thicker, which takes away from their airy, light appeal and lets less sunlight into the room. Glad you asked! Double layers of window shades and curtains just double the styling fun. Our custom window shades are not only excellent standalone covers but also perfect extra layers.
Layering window shades and curtains can make a statement in any space. For a crisp, layered look, pair airy sheer curtains or linen curtains with cordless window shades in a cohesive colorway. For added functionality, combine blackout roller shades or solar shades with blackout curtains to enhance texture and light control. What type of hooks should be purchased for Pinch Pleat curtains?
No need to order hooks; they come with your curtain. Please refer to the attached picture. Additionally, the hooks are adjustable for length.
How to get side panle curtains size?
Width: If you need to cover the window, use panels that are 1.5 to 3 times the width of the window for a fuller look. When the panels are opened, they have an 8-10 fullness look on the side area.
If you only need to cover a 12-24 inch space beside the window frame, consider ordering a 30-60 inch wide pleated panel or a 60-120 inch flat panel(rod pocket, grommet, back tab) to get an 8-10 fullness look.
Length: Decide whether you want your panels to touch the floor, puddle slightly, or hover above it. Each option creates a different effect, so choose according to your desired style.

Can I return the customized curtains?
Because all of our curtains are handcrafted for you, unfortunately, they cannot be applied to other customers. As such, we cannot accept returns other than quality issues. Please accept our apology.
If you are not completely satisfied with your curtains and want to return them within 30 days of purchase or after receiving your order, we can offer you a partial refund at 70% off your order price since it's a customized order.

Will I be charged for a return?
For quality issues, all return shipping costs will be borne by Curtarra.
If you've incorrectly measured your window/door and received curtains that don't fit perfectly and want to return them. All return shipping costs will be borne by the customer.

How will I receive my refund, and how long will it take?
After you confirm the refund amount, our financial team will submit the refund requests in 24 hours. Then, we will send you a screenshot of the refund submission via email. The refund will take roughly 1-15 workdays to be back to your payment account, varying by the processing time of the issuing bank.

Can I cancel my order at any time?

We will keep you updated on your refund processing. Because all our items are custom-made, we cannot issue a refund or cancel your order once it's been made or shipped.
