However, since the mounting brackets for Roman shades are relatively small in size, if you don’t mind a portion of the shade extending beyond the frame, a minimum depth of 1 1/4 inches is acceptable.

  • Width Measurement: Measure the inside width of your window sash at the top, middle, and sill, as marked in the picture. Take the smallest measurement and deduct about 3/8" to ensure the roller shade fits inside the window frame.

    With an inside mount, there may be approximately 1/4" light gaps on each side between the shade and the window frame.

    If light leakage is a concern, consider choosing an outside mount and increasing the width for better coverage.

  • Length Measurement: Measure the inside height from your top sash at left, center, or right. Use the longest as your length.

Easy Installation

  • Our No Drill Roman Shades are designed for easy installation, making the process simple and tool-free.

  • Place the spring side against your window frame, push the shade, make the non-slip side against another frame, then release. Tighten the spring by turning it clockwise using the included tool. The spring locks it securely—no drilling, no damage.

  • DO NOT manipulate the rear lifting mechanism; doing so will damage the product and cause it to malfunction.

    Blackout Lining

    • Select our Blackout Lining option for certain Roman shades to ensure maximum privacy and effective light blockage.

    • The blackout lining guarantees that no light will penetrate the shaded area. However, if you opt for an Inside Mount, a gap between the Roman shade and the window frame will naturally occur, allowing some light to filter through the gap.

      For 100% light blockage, we recommend choosing the Outside Mount option and ensuring that the Roman shade width extends at least 10 inches beyond the window frame.

    • Roman shades with blackout lining have a slightly different look compared to standard Roman shades. The image on the left showcases a Roman shade with blackout lining.

      Other than this visual distinction, the functionality and overall appearance remain the same as regular Roman shades.

    • Roman shades with blackout lining, don't have a swen trace on the center so that the fabric might move, need to train it.

    Montage von Jalousien ohne Bohren

    Schritt 1: Legen Sie die Federseite an Ihren Fensterrahmen, drücken Sie die Jalousie nach oben und drücken Sie die rutschfeste Seite an einen anderen Rahmen. Lassen Sie sie dann los.

      This Beautiful Shade Elevated Our Small Kitchen Layout

      The brown border is such a nice contrast against our beige cabinets and marble counters. It is way more elegant than I expected for the price. Since we are renting, the no drill mount was honestly the deciding factor, and it has not damaged the window trim at all. It filters the sun beautifully while I am cooking without making the kitchen feel dark. Even our landlord commented on it during the last walk through inspection.

      Solved Our Privacy Problem Without Losing The Light

      Our bathroom window looks straight out over an open field, so privacy was not negotiable, but I did not want the room to feel closed off either. This fabric threads the needle perfectly. It filters the light instead of blocking it, so the room stays bright during the day but nobody walking by can see in. Also did not expect the color match to our walls to be this close from an online order.

      Super Cozy Bedroom Upgrade

      My dog absolutely loves lounging on the mattress, watching the soft light filter through the woven fabric, it is like his own little spot now. The custom sizing was a nice surprise, it fit our narrow window frames perfectly without any hassle. And adjusting the height, it just glides up and down so smooth and quiet, barely makes a sound.

      Great Look, Just Took Some Getting Used To

      We ordered four of these for our main living area and the overall effect is beautiful, they really tie the whole room together with the natural wood tones and the beams. Only real complaint is that the cordless lift mechanism took a few tries to get the hang of, at first I was not pulling it evenly and the shade sat a little crooked. Once I figured out the right motion it has been smooth every time since.
