As is known to all, shipping is often the biggest concern for online shopping. At curtarra.com, we take pride in our fast shipping service and hope you can enjoy shopping at every step.

Delivery Time

Since our custom items (including curtains, shades, rods, tracks, etc.) are instantly crafted according to your particular requirements, our order delivery usually can be made up of two parts: 

Processing Time:

  • Ordinary Day: 7-10 Business Days
  • Holiday Season: 13-35 Business Days

Shipping Time:

  • Ordinary Day: 7-10 Business Days
  • Holiday Season: 7-10 Business Days

Total Time:

  • Ordinary Day: 14-20 Business Days
  • Holiday Season: 20-45 Business Days


* Free swatches arrive in 7-10 business days in the U.S.
Delivery to Canada typically takes 10-15 business days.
Delivery times may vary based on your location, as our headquarters is in California.
* Please pay attention to the shipping notification email.

Delivery time may be extended by 45 business days during the CNY holiday season(aka. Jan.&Feb.).

Shipping Fee

We offer FREE SHIPPING on ALL products across the US and Canada.

Sample orders have a $3.99 shipping fee.

Oversized custom orders requiring freight shipping are subject to additional charges (see "Oversized Custom Orders" below).

Oversized Custom Orders (Freight Shipping)

For special custom orders placed through our customer service team, items exceeding standard courier size limits will be shipped via freight instead of FedEx/DHL.

Freight shipping typically applies to extra-long custom roller shades that cannot be split into separate packages. Custom curtains, rods, and tracks are normally shipped in multiple packages or in cut sections to fit standard courier size limits. If you require rods or tracks to be shipped uncut in full length, freight charges may also apply.

Please note the following:

  • Additional Freight Charges: Freight shipping incurs extra costs not covered by our free shipping policy. Our customer service team will confirm the exact freight fee with you individually before your order is processed.
  • Customs Duties & Taxes: For freight shipments, customs duties cannot be prepaid by the sender. The recipient (customer) is responsible for paying any applicable duties and taxes upon receiving the customs clearance notice.
  • Separate Shipment & Extended Transit: Freight items will be shipped separately from other items in your order, and the shipping time will be extended to approximately 3 weeks.

Shipping Carrier

Orders on custom curtains are shipped by air, via FedEx or DHL, mainly. Oversized custom items are shipped via freight carriers.

For free fabric swatches, most of them are shipped by USPS.

Shipping Address

Please note that we can deliver fabric swatches to the PO boxes. But we can't do that in the case of curtain&hardware order shipment.

Track Shipment

Once your package ships, we will email you the tracking information(carrier and tracking number).
You can check your shipment by clicking the Track Order for more details. Or visit the carrier's official website to monitor your package. 

Damage/Lost Package

We meticulously check all our products to prevent issues, but damage or loss may happen during transit.

If your product is damaged or lost, please do the following:

1. Take a picture showing the damage or describe the loss.

2. Report to the carrier:

3. Email us at support@curtarra.com with the problem and the relevant photos.

We'll promptly address your issues and, if confirmed by the carrier, assist in locating or remaking your lost items.
