Inside mount needs a deep enough frame
At least 2 inches of frame depth is needed for bracket installation.
The shade’s depth changes by style — the biggest roller shades are about 3 inches deep. If your frame is shallower than that, choose outside mount.
Bay windows, without overlap
Once you have marked the projection point in each corner, work from those marks.
Centre panel — measure the width between the two marks.
Side panels — measure each side window separately, and add your overlap only at the outer edges of the bay, never at the corners. That gap is what stops the shades from hitting each other.
A minimum 2" window frame depth is required.
We recommend adding a 1-3 inches to width and 4-6 inches to height to allow light gap coverage.

Step 2
How Many Inches Would You Like to Add the Width?
We recommend to add at least 1-3 inches(1/2-1 1/2" each side) to minimize light seepage and enhance privacy.
To measure for the outside-mount Roman blinds (without overlap) installed on the bay window, begin by measuring the width 2-3 inches from the wall.
