Step 2
How Many Inches Would You Like to Add the Width?
We recommend to add at least 1-3 inches(1/2-1 1/2" each side) to minimize light seepage and enhance privacy.
To measure for the outside-mount Roman blinds (without overlap) installed on the bay window, begin by measuring the width 2-3 inches from the wall, as shown in the image below.
Step 3
What is the Window Height (frame inner edge to edge)?
What is the Window Height (frame outer edge to edge)?
For accuracy, please use a steel measuring tape measure from the highest point inside(for inside mount) or outside(for outside mount) your frame.

Special Tips:
-
1
At least 2 inches of frame depth for bracket installation. The shade's depth will change by style; the biggest roller shades are about 3 inches deep.
-
2
To measure a bay window for outside-mount Roman shades without overlap:
1. Determine Projection (P): Mark the depth 2 to 3 inches the shades will project from the wall in the corner angles.
2. Measure Center Panel: Measure the width between the two P marks in the corners of the center window.
3. Measure Side Panels: Measure the width of each side window, adding desired overlap only to the outermost edge of the bay. This ensures clearance.
